26 July 2015: Gold and Silver
Larry Arthur won Gold in the 1500m and Silver in the 800m in the National Masters 26TH July 2015 Tullamore. Larry represented Ireland in the 1500m at World Masters in Lyon on August 16th 2015. Larry had a great run and qualified for the final and improved his PB.

Michael Kelly fresh after completing in Hell of The West Triathlon the previous day...swept the boards with - Gold in 800m - Gold with the Clare team in the Inter-county Relay - Silver in the 1500m Larry Arthur continued his good form with gold in the 1500m and silver in the 800m Garry Madden finished just outside the medals in the 800m setting a new PB in the race.
Munster Senior & Masters Indoor Championships
18 Jan 2015: Triple Gold for the Senior team
The Derg AC Senior team participated in the Munster Senior & Masters Indoor Championships on Sunday 18th January in Nenagh Indoor Stadium. This was the Senior team’s first time competing at this level on the track and the team produced some tremendous performances on the day wining 3 gold and 2 silver medals in total. In the Masters 800m O/35 race Gary Madden ran a smart race producing a great sprint at the finish to win the Gold medal. In the Masters 1500m O/35 race Larry Arthur out kicked the field with two laps remaining and held on strongly to win the Gold medal. Larry also ran in the 3000m O/35 race winning the Silver medal. In the 3000m O/50 race Michael Kelly lead from start to finish in a hotly contested race winning the Gold Medal. In the 1500m O/50 race Michael Kelly also adopted front running tactics only to be passed on the last lap. Michael finished strongly winning the Silver Medal.

Silver Medal for Michael Kelly in the All-Ireland Masters Cross Country Well done to Michel Kelly who competed on the Clare team in the All Ireland Masters Cross Country competition in Galway on Sunday Feb 8th. Michael was the second person home on the Clare team over the 7.3Km distance. The Clare team finished second overall winning the team silver medal in the county team event.
Munster Master Cross Country
Well done to Michael Kelly and Larry Arthur who both won bronze medals running as part of the Clare team in Munster Masters cross country race in Watergrasshill. Michael Kelly finished in 6th place overall in the O/50 category, Larry finished in 14th place in the O/35 Category.
