For Whom: Teenagers
Prerequisites: No running or sports experience required
Aim: This programme is aimed at teenagers who may not be involved in formal or team sports. Athletes can run, jog or walk. It will give them an opportunity to explore athletic events like sprints, hurdles, and shot put, and to develop a positive attitude to health and fitness that will hopefully become a life skill. Each athlete will participate at their own fitness level and ability and will set their own personal goals.
When and Where: *Clarisford Park Tuesday 6.15-7.15pm *Clarisford Park Saturday 11.30 – 12.45pm *Please note that we hold a training session once a month in UL or Nenagh Indoor Track. Notification of change of venue will be given by text.
What do I need: Runners and comfortable clothes
How much: Derg AC membership fees apply
